From city to countryside
The Journey
The Leap
For years, we lived the life many dream of: suits pressed, full inboxes, tight calendars. We worked in the high-paced world of corporations: designing, managing, solving, and delivering. And though the work was good, something stirred beneath the surface. 
A quiet longing: not for more, but for less. Less noise. Less rush. Less of the endless loop that left no room to breathe.
After nearly two decades in that world, we did something that felt both terrifying and deeply right: we leapt. We turned the page, packed our things, and followed a different rhythm: one set by curiosity and not by deadlines.
The Move
We traded skyscrapers for hills and neon lights for starlit skies. The road out of the city took us deeper into the countryside, to a quiet place tucked between forest and field, where the wind carries stories and the pace of life is measured in seasons, not seconds.
Here, amongst winding paths and chirping crickets, we found more than peace. We found a kind of homecoming. The kind where mornings are slow, coffee is strong and creativity flows not from pressure, but from presence.
The Craft
With hands full of expertise and seasoned hearts, we set to work, to build something more meaningful, not to recreate the busy world we’d left behind. Drawing on our years of experience in design, writing, and project management, we founded Squirrels of Transylvania. 
A brave studio with a big belief that every website should tell a story and every detail should serve a purpose.
We don’t believe in ticking the box. We believe in thinking, sketching ideas, typing thoughts and designing with soul.

Green & Red Squirrels
Strategists, designers & creative minds
A successful duo of globe-trotting professionals turned Transylvanian countryside dwellers, Green Squirrel and Red Squirrels bring a rich mix of international corporate know-how and creative spark to Squirrels of Transylvania.
With roots in world-renowned corporations, their successful careers honed skills in project management, leadership, customer service and sales – now channeled into creating websites where precision meets artistry.
Outside their digital design life in the studio, life in the Transylvanian countryside opened the door to pursue other creative passions through art, wood working and quietly planning a YouTube channel.
The Green Squirrel explores creativity through a steady hand with the paintbrush on canvas – that reflects a love for storytelling in many forms.
The Red Squirrel explores new ventures deepening her passion for photography, capturing stories in light and shadow.
This balance of innovation, artistry and adventure proves that personal reinvention can be as bold as it is beautiful.
Life outside webdesign

After hours spent shaping websites, the workshop offers a different kind of craft—where woodgrain and hand tools replace keyboards, and the focus shifts from pixels to timber.
Days unfold between sketching new ideas and restoring vintage furniture, with a keen eye for details.
Amidst stacks of timber and a chalkboard marked by dog prints and half-erased ideas, creativity takes root in stillness and focus. The camera often records these moments for our upcoming YouTube project. The sawdust on sleeves, the quiet mishaps and the gentle play of light.
Studio assistant - Houdini

Every story needs a supporting character. Our little rescue dog, quickly earned her role of studio assistant and since she found her way into our hearts is always nearby reminding us that life’s too short not to chase squirrels now and then.
With every website we build and project we craft, she’s right there beside us, appearing in videos uninvited, photo-bombs with flair and has a sixth sense for interrupting video calls precisely at their most serious moment.
She’s our reminder to enjoy the moment, take breaks and never turn down a treat. After all in a squirrels studio someone has to chase them now and again.

We didn’t set out to start a business. We set out to live differently, to create with care and to rediscover the quiet joy of making something with our own hands (and sometimes, with a paw or two nearby). What followed is Squirrels of Transylvania — a studio, a workshop and a story still being written.
Each project we take on is more than pixels or polish. It’s a conversation, a shared vision, and a little moment of trust between us and the people we work with.
